Abstract

Antenatal Care (ANC) is a pregnancy check that is carried out periodically to monitor the condition of the mother and fetus, after which an examination is carried out to correct any abnormalities found. Government policy regarding the schedule of examinations should be carried out at least 6 times during pregnancy, which are divided into trimesters.Objective:To find out the factors associated with ANC visits to third trimester pregnant women in Jurangmanggu Timur Village, Pondok Aren District.Method:This study uses a designcross sectional with 54 respondents taken using the techniquenon probability sampling taken bypurposive sampling. Research result:most of the respondents are aged who are not at risk (64.8%), have low education (63.0%), work (83.3%), lack knowledge (63.0%), have families that do not support ANC (66.7% ), and not suitable for ANC (72.2%),Conclusion:Related factors were education level (p=0.000) OR 29, knowledge (p=0.000), OR 29, family support (p=0.000) OR 22, and those that were not related were age (p=0.75) OR 0, 7, work (p=0.096) OR 0.3.Suggestion:It is hoped that the respondents will have knowledge about the factors related to ANC visits so that the community knows the importance of carrying out pregnancy checks or ANC.
